Mozambique, Africa
The Portuguese described landing on Mozambique’s shores as ‘passing into paradise’. With over 2500 km’s of coastline and some of the most beautiful islands in the world you soon understand why. It’s the allure of an undiscovered tropical paradise with exotic, palm-lined beaches and spectacular horse riding that is unrivalled. Our horse riding operation is located just outside the town of Vilankulo and on the exclusive Benguerra Island in the Bazaruto Archipelago.
Vilankulo
Isolated and unspoilt from mass tourism Vilankulo is the ultimate escape renowned for its golden sand beaches, bue seas and palm trees. The beaches stretch for tens of kilometres punctuated only by small fishing villages, waving locals and colourful dhows. The riding is excellent and varied, each day is different with plenty of exhilarating canters on well conditioned and trained horses. The town itself is lively with a busy market and a plethora of beach resorts and resturants which make for good nights out.
“Mandy and Pat are two of the most interesting and inspiring humans you can meet, couple them with a horse riding holiday and you have the recipe for an experience never to be forgotten.” Kirsty

Ascend towering sand dunes with stunning views of the inland lakes below where large flocks of flamingo can often be seen.
